Being able to serve the community in whatever possible way is one of Tribu AdOBo’s advocacies besides going outdoors and having adventures. We made it first with success, no other reason we couldn’t do it the second time, third, and so on with the help of our partners and/or sponsors.
Our second outreach program “Care to Love and Share” was held at Barangay Tagjaguimit, Naga City, Cebu on June 9, 2019. The event won’t be possible, of course, without the help and support from our partners and sponsors. The team is grateful for the blessings and support received from ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc.’s Bantay Bata 163 Cebu, Quarry Venture Phils. Inc., Cebu Canine Alliance, Lamiran Sandals, TBT Travel and Tours, SUGBU Dag Sik Kat, USJR Dance Club, Barangay Captain Vicky Requinto, Counselor Nanding Requinto, Counselor Charmaine Navarro, the other officials and peace officers of the barangay, and the members of its Barangay Health Workers.
We are thankful to Grade 1 teachers Sheila Mae Gentica, Neziel Saplot, and Ana Jagna for helping us gather the pupils to which our program intends to help. The presence and the joy painted on each child’s face along with their parents during the program are beyond comparable. It’s overwhelming to see and hear how grateful everyone in the barangay is to have us in their remote area.
The undying support of the team members is nothing but constant. At some point some may not able to be physically present but everyone knows their very presence every time and anytime. Having you along this journey is worth the effort and time spent.
Lapses are a few but overall, the event was another milestone and achievement that brought the bond of our team and share it with others to make the same. We are after all the instruments of the almighty God to spread the love and care to each and everyone.
Indeed, no one is poor enough unable to share as blessings are not given to us to keep but for us to share.
In behalf of Tribu AdOBo, we are forever grateful to everyone who has been part of our purpose in serving our community and in taking care of our mother nature.
Above all, thank you Lord for the blessings and the opportunity to fulfill our mission. Hopefully, others will do the same in whatever way they can for the betterment of everyone.
Until our next community project everyone! God bless us more to continue to love and share.
